e-Skills for Jobs High-Level Conference | Riga
The official launch of the European Commission's e-Skills for Jobs 2015 campaign will take place on 13 March 2015 in Riga, where a high-level conference will be held under the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The conference, which will be attended by policymakers and stakeholders from across the e-Skills campaign, will explore issues surrounding the transformation of the European economy as a whole, beyond the traditional IT sector, with a view to maximising e-Skills’ potential to foster innovation, competitiveness, jobs and growth.
The event will be attended by around 200 delegates, and is expected to garner coverage from media outlets across Europe.
For those who are unable to attend the event in person, but still wish to follow, the Riga conference will be live-streamed; alternatively, you can follow the developments as they happen on Twitter - #eskillsriga, or keep updated on Facebook.
